About Canby.
Canby Community Clinic, formerly known as Pura Vida Community Clinic, is a nonprofit healthcare clinic at 7601 Canby Avenue, Suite 6B, in the heart of Reseda, California.
We believe everyone deserves a place where they feel heard, welcomed, and cared for.
For us, healthcare is about more than appointments, prescriptions, and checkups. It is about the person walking through the door. The parent worried about their child. The neighbor who has been putting off a visit. Someone who needs a little guidance and does not know where to begin.
Asking for help is not always easy. Finding the right care can feel like too much. We want Canby to feel like more than another doctor's office. A familiar place in the neighborhood, where your questions matter, your concerns are taken seriously, and you are treated like a person, not a number.
Whether it is your first visit or you have known us for years, we are glad you are here.
The name
Different name. Same community.
You may remember us as Pura Vida Community Clinic. Today, we are known as Canby Community Clinic.
The name is the street we call home, here in Reseda. The name changed. The tie to this neighborhood did not.
If you have been here before, the address is the same. If this is your first time, we look forward to meeting you.
A new name. A familiar place. A community we care about.

A healthier Reseda starts with all of us.
A healthier community is built in the exam room, and also in the relationships around it. The neighbor who shares a useful resource. The volunteer who gives their time. The family that encourages someone they love to get checked. The people who show up for one another.
That is the community we want to help build.

Healthy communities start with families. We help parents understand their options, ask questions, and find the resources they need.
Blood drives and outreach
Giving back takes more than one form. Blood donation, health education, and time spent in the neighborhood. We can do more of it when we look out for one another.
